Live casino: studios, dealers and the pace at the table

In a live casino you play at a real table with a real dealer, streamed on video from a studio. It feels different from digital games — the cards are physical, the ball rolls in a real wheel. The maths is the same. Whether Duell offers live tables, and which ones, is shown in the operator's lobby.

How a live studio works

A dealer sits at a table in a studio with several cameras. You watch the table in real time and place bets through a digital interface while the betting window is open. When it closes, the round is played and the result is recorded by equipment at the table before it appears on screen. The game is run by the studio provider, not by the casino that shows it.

The house edge follows the game's rules, not its format. European roulette carries the same edge whether the ball is real or digital — see table games for the figures.

Table limits

Each table shows a minimum and maximum stake. Pick a table whose minimum fits your budget. Worked example: with 50 and a minimum of 2 you have 25 bets; at 0.50 you have 100.

Game shows and side bets

Many studios run game shows with a presenter, wheels and bonus rounds, and tables with side bets that pay big on rare outcomes. Such bets often carry a higher house edge than the main bet. Read the paytable and rules before trying them.

Pace and breaks

A live table can feel relaxed, but rounds come quickly. The social side — chat, a dealer who greets you, other players — makes it easy to stay longer than planned. Set a time limit before you sit down and leave when it is reached.

Live games and bonuses

Many bonus terms let live games count for little or nothing towards wagering. If you mostly play live, a bonus will rarely suit you. See wagering requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Does Duell have a live casino?
Check the operator's lobby. We do not list tables because the selection is not confirmed here.
Is live roulette fairer than digital roulette?
The house edge is the same, because it follows the game's rules. European roulette has 2.70% in both formats.
Do live games count towards wagering?
Often little or not at all. The contribution is in the bonus terms.
